Shouldn't co-champions share and split the points, and get only half of the 11100 points?

I know you are kiding but you totally miss the point.

The champion gets 12000 while the runner-up gets 10200. Since there is a tie, both get (12000+10200)/2 which is 11100 points each.
By doing so, the total points earned will be telly mathematically regardless of the results.
