    -----

Here are the statistic of countries who enter the QF stages :

    China : 12
    Denmark: 6
    Japan & Ina : 4
    Mas,Kor, Tpe, Ind : 2
Vie, Sco, Fra, Gua, Ger, Sin : 1

After QF round I’m not surprised if none of Ina players has enter SF. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Will be interesting to see if KKK/TBH can break the jinx vs KSH/YYS and also what can Cordon do against LCW.

There is no INA and KOR singles players left in the quarter final. But there is a Guatemala single player.

All 4 INA doubles have chances to win but being in London and playing against Denmark(for 2 of them), chances are about equal.

Vita/Nadya should have good chance too if they play the right strategy against India. While Greys/Mel are facing the pair that beat them 3 times before.

There are some good matches on show tomorrow especially KKK/TBH VS KSH/YYS. Denmark has done well in the tournament so far , but I guess all the chinese players will move up another gear since it is the QF stage ...

Lets hope Imogen and Chris and make a good impression out there tomorrow

I am expecting tight matches for almost all QF. The only "easy" prediction is the last 2 matches on court 2. Surely China XD and WD no 1 rank will win.

    MD QF
Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan [7] vs Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen [2] - yet another tough hurdle for Bona/Ahsan, after their victory over the 2nd ranked CHN pair. Boe/Mogensen have the edge as usual but I am hoping for an upset.

    WD QF
Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda [3] vs Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii [8] - it's time for Mel/Grace to beat the Japanese pair, with the right tactic and strategy, esp after the Japanese had the longest match of the WC so far yesterday night. Also, it's high time for this pair to win something significant, like the bronze medal of the WC!

Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati [12] vs Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnapa - Vita/Nadya need to reproduce their form during the INA SSP to win a bronze medal at the WC.

    XD QF
Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen [5] vs Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [2] - yet another test against European pair for Towi/Butet to tackle and I hope they pass with flying color.

Meanwhile, 3 down and 3 more to go for Lee Chong Wei. Surely, he will beat Kevin Cordon to ensure that he at least goes home with a Bronze medal...if not he will be ridiculed for perhaps the biggest upset of this WC.

Surprisingly for INA, our WD pairs have the chance to reach SF whereas all the MS players are eliminated before QF stage :(

XD remains our best bet for the London Olympics 2012 at the same venue.

wow, after watching the replay of Kevin Cordon vs Chen Long, now I seriously think he can create history by beating LCW.

The man from guatemala plays with passion.

I don't think he needs to play well against LCW.

He will scare the **** out of the world number 1 by just bursting out shouting every few rallys.

This is a definite must watch for all the neutral fans.

yup, KKK/TBH starts the ball rolling for today, hope they can beat Ko/Yoo to end the jinx against them. based on LCW's performance so far, i think it is very difficult for Cordon to win.

AE86, did you watch the KC vs CL 1st round match ?

Chen Long was playing well in that match.

He lost because of Kevin's antics, not because he playing badly or no form.

Kevin Cordon takes every point seriously

and he has different kind of tricks in his game than other top players.

2011 World Championhips Mens Singles: Kevin Cordon is facing Lee Chong Wei today

    .
    I am sure that the current TOP 3 BWF Ranking players (who are still in at this 2011 World Championships), namely;

    1. Lee Chong Wei
    2. Lin Dan
    3. Peter Gade

are all monitoring Kevin Cordon's performance.

With them 3 more experienced players, perhaps Kevin Cordon will find it not easy to defeat them.

Let's wait and watch how Kevin Cordon can perform today against Lee Chong Wei first. :):):)

specifically the coaches have probably already torn apart KC's playing style, strength and weaknesses and then already drafted a game plan against him, just in case...... ;)

Yeah, i think most of us watch the game, but to make assumption based on KC performance against CL that he will beat the **** out of LCW is totally nonsense.. :)
