If LCW & LD both on their Top-form, I say LCW will win this time. I think this is his time.

PG will not gift his match away to LD. It all depends on what LD will want to take away from the semi-final against PG. I think he will play a normal but exciting game, and try to finish things off in 2 games.

The real danger for LCW is to not have any quality match practice prior to the finals. His mind will have to be in top gear, and not try to anticipate LD's ploys. He will need to trust his own capabilities.

LD will have to rely on disguise, deception, changes of pace, and his famous interception powers. This time around however, none of it may be enough.
haha, CJ is already and always guilty if he could not win the match... if he lost with a fight, he's guilty of tiring out LCW for LD; if he lost easily, he's guilty for not giving a quality test to LCW so as to make him undercook... also for LD!!!

what an amazing logic and criminal set-up! just like the Chinese Cultural Revolution!!

on the other hand, fans already given LCW a good excuse if not winning this time: NOT HAVING A QUALITY TEST PRIOR TO FINAL!!! just opposite to historical one: Too tired with quality prior rounds without teamates' help like LD who saved energy because not having a quality test prior to final!!!

Is it me or is there someone else who feel that Lee was unable to produce his best today. Even tho the scoreline was 2-13, 21-9, Lee seems rather nervous. Chen Jin was out of form anyway given hisrecent record. Beaten three times by Sho Sasaki. No disrespect to Sho.

I think you've misunderstood my words.

I admire CJ as a player; no disrespect to him. My point was simply that maybe the team strategy was to evaluate the chances in the semis and use one of two methods to reduce LCW's effectiveness in the finals. Besides, if CJ is still not 100% fit, they wont want him to do something silly and injure himself again, and ruin his chances of staying in the top 4 rankings for this crucial period until May 2012. So the team management have to take a pragmatic view of the situation.

My point about LCW is one that everyone acknowledges: his historically weak mind when it comes to playing Lin Dan. So what's the big deal with you? You've read more into my post than there is.

Now, the fact is that LCW is undercooked! And to some extent, so is LD! But LD has historically had the mental strength to deal with it. LCW has just recently discovered his mental strength, and that could still be in fragile condition. We will see.

Meanwhile, please explain what you meant by:
...an amazing logic and criminal set-up! just like the Chinese Cultural Revolution!!
and how exactly does this apply to me?

lcw have 7 extra rest hours
lin dan played extra 75 minutes on court in this tournament
a straight set victory for lcw, where lin dan might score less than all england final 2011

Hmm be careful.Maybe Lin Dan will turn into Super Dan tomorrow. He should not be taken lightly and I'm sure LCW is aware of that.

It will be history in the making...LD 4th WC crown or LCW/MAS 1st WC gold.
