    Sorry if this has been posted already, did a search and couldn't find anything for Vladimir Putin. Just thought I would share the story. I logged onto the internet and the 1st story that popped up was about Putin and listed there was badminton so I just had to read more into it. This is what I saw haha.

    :D Is Canada two months behind? Think I posted the accompanying vid in the "prof. players and their rackets thread"
    There has been a similar story a year or a few years ago as well ... If you picture them doing something decent I would strongly advise to NOT look up the vid ;)
    But better to have them play it than slate it :cool:

    Doesn't Russia (and a few other eastern European countries) have a lot of professional players now? There seem to be a lot on the European circuit.

    The coolest badminton uniform I've ever seen was the all red CCCP hammer and sickle Soviet Union uniform at the All England. That looked truly awesome.
