So, today I was at the quarter finals of the world championships, and between the two sessions I went off to a McDonalds down the road. After ordering my ( sickly ) food I took my tray and sat down at a table, noting that the person on the table next to me looked quite like LCW, i thought nothing of it at the time, but then about a minute later, koo kien kiet, and tan boon heong walk up to the table and sit down.... i did a double take of the man next to me, and saw that it really was Lee chong wei. Is it normal for professional players to eat fast food during tournaments, or was it TBH, and KKK's way of washing down defeat???

Well I'm sure athletes still enjoy fast food. Afterall it's convenient and cheap, easy to eat and tastes good. Sometimes they don't really worry about the little affects it has on your body. To be honest, as long as they continue to train and only eat it once in a while, there should be no problem.

But, I would have asked for their autographs! :D

It's pretty well known that Usain Bolt had McDonalds chicken nuggets before smashing the 100m world record in Beijing, so why not?
I expect one of the hundred or so artificial colorings/flavourings/preservatives/emulsifiers/etc in the average McDonalds meal, is actually an as-yet-undiscovered performance enhancing drug...

I think Koo/Tan defeat in QF which means their punishment for being defeated is to eat a lot of McDonalds food or treat LCW...hahaha...

Strange as it may sound McD's would actually be the "safest" food to consume, if food poisoning is something they want to avoid. They serve up millions of these burgers every day, and it's familiar, tastes OK, and has the required artery clogging proteins and fat.

Yeah, if it tastes different from what they have eaten before, at least can spit out.

Boss, what's wrong with steak from Spain? The cow got disease?

Now we know. There is a conspiracy. MCD made lcw lost..... lmao...;)

Damn, how could these guys at the highest level eat these at this crucial time?

Talking about discipline and not wanting to go to London for a holiday when given. It is as guilty as hell man. ;)

What I'm saying is if you decided not to take the day off and yet go for these types of food. God helps you. ;) Probably, that cost him 1 point. ;) He can own a MCD franchise after the game bro. ;) IMO ya.

I think in his mind, he must be saying.. awwww... its the damn macdonald, I am too heavy to follow up on the netting. lmao... ;)

    .
Have LCW, KKK and TBH consulted their dietician/nutritional/medical team about eating at McDonalds? :D:D:D

I saw them there too, got LCW's autograph as he walked out, but KKK and TBH wouldn't even stop for a minute to sign me an autograph.

Even top players treat themselves with McDonald's :) They must have got so bored with their food, everything low fat and tasteless. Once in a while indulge fast food would be nice.

Oh, Koo Kien Kiat's new hair style don't look pleasant in fact doesn't suit his character.

Yes. but after the tournament. I am not sure if the manager or lcw himself got kicked in the butt because of this. ;)

Would you if you are the big boss? You dare to scold lcw? ;)
