same tension head as the Wilson Baiardo machine except rebranded and different cover. the turn table is new alpha design. Love the lower part where you just turn screw to move the post.I forgot if it has tilt function or not.
the innards might be the same, but from outside of it, i don't see much resemblance between this and the Baiardo.
If you look at the tensioning unit. Both alpha and Baiardo are low profile. Also, if you have a chance to see the power supply for the Alpha, it is an external brick like Baiardo. The last thing, you might not see it, but Alpha use modified display and buttons. There are 4 on top and 4 below on the Wilson machine which is same function as the alpha machine. Only Wilson machine are programmable. I will take some pictures after my Baiardo demo unit arrive after US Open in NY. You will see something interesting on Baiardo machine reg the n/s posts and the side supports adapter (I call them condoms)
very obviously OEMed from Poreex/Exthree. the clamps and clamp bases look exactly like the Victor. the color is definitely nice and the 6/12 supports are nice. nice to see a 5 finger load spreader for badminton. that one looks very much like the MBS ones with an extra sleeve to fit onto the end support. the side support arms do look too long for badminton, resulting in the end towers having to be really far away. i guess since the tensioner is fixed we have to deal with long strings anyway so not really big deal anymore. the oval table is a nice tough that will reduce string tangle. the huge red adjustment knob on the other hand might catch on some strings.
