Did anyone know about kawasaki brand? Lately i went to a sport shop and i found this brand. There have badminton racket, shoe, sportwear........ Is it this brand reliable? Can anyone get me more information?
Back in the 80s, Icuk Sugiarto of Indonesia was sponsored by Kawasaki. His most notable achievement was when he won the World Championships MS in 1983 at the age of 21. Back then Kawasaki was among the better known brands among Yonex, Carlton, Pro Kennex and their racquets were quite in demand then. Nowadays, Kawasaki seems to have fade into oblivion and not much have been heard about their products or any product development they have made recently. Icuk is the father of the current Indonesian player, Tommy Sugiarto.
Some of high end Kawasaki rackets: Kawasaki Spider 8000 II KAWASAKI Assasin 8888 Kawasaki Mao9 For more infos: http://threesports.blogspot.com/p/kawasaki.html Have any of you guys ever tried these rackets? Good looking rackets i reckon. Price seems affordable too, about the same price(in Ringgit Malaysia) as Victor rackets.
i found their official website http://www.kawasakijp.com/en/product.aspx. By the way, their shoe outlook design also attractive. I think i started admire kawasaki brand

I do own one Mao-11, bought it in Hong Kong in march. Solid piece of racket, good control and power(abit demanding though).
