Hi BCers, A new community centre has been completed in North Ryde, NSW that would house 8 badminton courts. I haven't actually been there but will do so soon. This $6.3 million facility has been building since November 2009 when a smaller existing building was demolished, and was opened officially on Saturday 13th August 2011. Anyone wishing to find out about courts can contact admin.rcsc@ymca.org.au or ring 02 9878 2223. Anyone wanting to see this place can try www.nearmap.com and enter "kent road, marsfield nsw" which will take you to a map of kent road - to the right of which you see a couple of ovals and a large building nearby. You can use the dropdown list to choose a different date for the photos. This is like Google Earth, but with history. -John
