Agree with flite.
But I doubt Han Jian would ever want to be back working with BAM again.

What mistake did LCW or BAM make to lose in this WC?

Would the outcome have been different if LCW has won WC before? There might be less pressure on his shoulder.

Why does being number 2 imply a mistake, there's 100s of pro players, LCW is number 2 of them all.

Good one ct, I've reminded him. Too bad. Every little small thing will go all the way. Eg. politeness. lol.

Wow, LCW analysis overkill. Poor guy, he barely put a foot wrong and threads are going up determined to find a fault. SIGH

Well, not all are true. It's just to get some good points from credible contributors. So, 1 or 2 guys are pretty good. Agree? You cast the net and select only the good stuff. Those 'rediculous' ones can be ignored.
See it from a positive side. Negative comments are worthless and waste of time. Why do you post anyway?
Take the good and throw away the bad. This is a forum for brainstorming. Not everyone is perfect.

LCW played well on that day just like he did in any other prior matches before final. While I am not at his level to comment what mistake he made, for sure one right thing he did is he did not come in to read all the unnecssary heart broken comments in this forum.

1. Dato' LCW vs LD
Hmm what mistakes ( the title does'nt sound right.....shouldn't it be like How or why Dato' LCW was defeated by LD in this year WC)...but well since it's the title so this are my views from their recent battle:
a. Mentality Toughness
- Overall :LD 51% > Dato' LCW 49%
A small marginal toughness shown by LD better than Dato' at a crucial stage. That is why he lost 23-21 at the 3rd set. A small marginal loss but with a hugely signifficant mentality effect in a long run.
- 1st set : Dato' 55% > LD 45 %
- 2nd set : LD 60 % > Dato' 40%
- 3rd set : LD 51% > Dato' 49%
With a clear focus of one's mission given in hand, the concentration and clarity to deliver that mission can be executed well. Clearly Dato' was on full concentration in the first set and rarely LD was able to lead him. He was slightly passive at the end but then was able to gain momentum back to deliver the winner smash to win the 1st set.
2nd set was a let down. His lines judgement was way off, numerous unforced errors and clearly most of the overhead winners comes from LD. Dato' SHOULD double up his concentration in this 2nd set better than the 1st, harnessing the psychological advantage of winning the 1st set. Obviously it did not happen, consciously was passive and therefore making lots of errors.
In the 3rd set it was obviously they were lock horn and even at 20-20 the world can't decide who is the 2011 WC. Credit should be given to LD since he was a better player between them since even going down at championship point twice, he was still at his best, fully concentrate with solid defence and excellent front court control and when given a single opprtunity,he delivered it in a way most likely what he wanted.....a mistake by Dato'.
Overhead winners : LD 55% > Dato' 45%
Front Court winners : LD 55% ( OVERALL 50% + 5% WHEN WAS DOWN TWICE AT CHAMPIONSHIP POINT) > Dato' 45%
Errors : Dato' 55% > LD 45%
Defence : LD 55% ( OVERALL 50% + 5% WHEN WAS DOWN TWICE AT CHAMPIONSHIP POINT) > DATO' 45%
Clearly LD has the manage to become the slight winner here.
2. BAM MISTAKES
This would be the right title...... I would not Blame Dato' for his defeat since he loss to a better player but BAM should take 100% all the blame because:
- No competitve junior player from BAM to support Dato' in Malaysia quest to find a world champion. It's like Dato' personal quest rather than a Malaysia quest. How much burden he can take only god knows...not to mention all the critics. On top of it, the only other Malaysia single player that was competing was Malaysian former WC silver medalist Wong CH.

I personally think that LCW's lost was down to bad luck whereas BAM's management of upcoming players to replace LCW is highly questionable

Good analysis by SS. Well done mate. We need you to be in CTC.
Perhaps, just perhaps, LCW or BAM should have brought MS into the final just to ups his morale by that just 1% extra? Do you think it'll work?
Again, good contribution is welcome. Negativity sucks.
It is just easy to say, it'll never work or no such thing. Then what else will work? Sleep on it? lol.

By the way this thread was worded, I don't think it could sound any less negative

Ok. Some of the good points are being contributed by great people. Good job.
Now, it is up to LCW to do something about it or to sit down and get nervous and beaten again, ended up being the number 2 best in the world who earns a whole lot of money. kekeke.. He can say, who gives a damn about titles. I got my mulla and you don't have it. KMA.. lol.
