    Hello,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNVC5PVJyPQ

    I
n the forearm pronation tutorial by thejym, i noticed while making contact, the angle between his forearm and racket was a little over 90 degrees, instead of 180 degrees, where the racket and forearm form a straight line. Is there reason why the racket must be tilted to the side instead of directly in front?
Also, when I hit at the angle shown in the video, the shuttles tend to turn to the right (I'm Right Handed) after follow through.

Anatomically impossible to hold it at 180 degrees. And in any case, try pronating your forearm with a racket in hand at various angles and you'll see for yourself why around 135 degress is optimal.

Oh, I see. Thank you for the explanation. I've actually been hitting at about 135-145 degrees without even knowing :)
