I heard from a commentator on mentioned that. At first I thought Pemalang (Hendra birth place) and Magelang (Chandra birth place) are not too much of a distance. Plus their skin type is rather similar. So I thought it could be true. But when I google it there is no mention of such, only as you said Hendra's sister is Hendrawan wife

Interesting question: Is Hariyanto Arbi an Indonesian of Chinese Descent ? Unlike Setiawan, Wijaya or Budikusuma, he doesnt have a Chinese resemblance on the outside.

Taufik Hidayat, Kido, Tantowi etc are definitely not Chinese but pure Javanese.
