im not exactly where to post this but this seemed appropriate....

anyways im 15 years old and considering entering a tournament with age divisions u-9, u-11, u-13, u-15, u-17, u-19, etc.

because i just turned 15 this year, would i be allowed in the u-15 group or would i have to play u-17?

this is the tournament page (or at least the site of the place holding it)

Yes, usually the tournament goes by the last date of the year. Whatever your age is by that, then you must be UNDER the listed age to play. i.e. 17 must play Under 19 as 17 is not Under 17
