This has already been touched on in the Bag section: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...-ning-china-national-team-bag-WC-2011-*/page2 This shoe was seen at the world championships worn by Lin Dan. I have seen the model on some websites in just a white colour with red decoration. But we also saw Lin Dan wear a yellow pair as well as an all black pair (worn in the final against LCW), they looked a similar design are they the same model (for example AYAF003-1/2/3) or do they have different codes? Has anyone seen the yellow or black shoes on sale anywhere? Any help would be appreciated!
He has use it since Korea Open. Actually, Lin dan doesnt use the usual AYAF003. This is the pic of usual AYAF003: You can see complete pic here http://www.yoger.com.cn/product/156076.html Lin dan use the mid cut version of this shoes :
Does anyone know the product code for either these yellow shoes or the black ones?? Are they AYAF003 shoes??
So it seems like they not so keen on the "lateral claw" design which Yonex and Victor is commonly using for their high end shoes.....personally i also dun see much usage of the lateral claws and i'm a flat-footer who's balance is supposedly weaker....hehe
Just a quick update for players in Singapore ...... This shoe (low-cut version) is on sale now at 10 & 10 Sports Trading in Bras Basah. Costs SGD$259.90 before 20% discount ...... works out to be around SGD$207 after less. Just by the looks and touch-feel, it seems to be a well-made shoe of good quality, construction and looks ...... it's just that it reminds me more of a basketball shoe, rather than a badminton shoe.
and maybe a fourth colour http://s366.photobucket.com/albums/oo102/indrasetiawanku/li ning/?action=view¤t=AYAF003-3.jpg&
That shoes looks very nice & comfortable...it looks like basketball shoes..Because the cut is higher than usual badminton shoes.
@tarpen Yes tarpen, i agree with you. The reason why basketball shoes has higher cut than casual shoes, is because they want to protect our ankle. Some badminton player might suffer ankle injury, therefore Lining might find that higher cut for badminton is helpful for supporting ankle. My question is that, Did Lining produce 2 type of AYAF003, one with higher cut than the other? Could someone clarify me with this matter? Those available around me are low cut. However based on the photo taken while LD wore this shoe, it seems that the cut is higher than usual.
