Pang Cheh Chang wasn't even in Japan, in fact it was Tey Seu Bock in the coaches' chair

They did step up their game quite a bit, I was quite impressed with their fighting display although it is a pity that they lost out so closely.
THIS IS THE KIND OF KKK/TBH we want where there is no shame in losing with a fight, not like what we saw in WC2011

again, it is the attitude.
If they keep on defending, they will loose. Those who attack more will win.
Fundamentals. Wake up boys.

Yes.
Lost the game never mind. Play hard and never give up is the correct attitude.

Its not rocket science. The hard part is getting to be players capable of winning a major, that takes years. If they start training hard and get as fit as they were when number 1s and play aggressivley with maximum effort they will be contenders.

I agree.

I believe that Rexy, as an experienced coach, must have told KKK/TBH what is wrong with their current performance (that caused them to be no longer as World No.1).
I think KKK/TBH do not believe in what Rexy had told them, and therefore they have decided to try Pang's coaching.

This is a long shot. I think there may b a chance they didnt go all out in the final few tournaments and use the bad results as an excuse to part with rexy. Didnt see the fire in them in the past as i saw in their last match in the japan open.

Agree. That s the privilege of being a proven hotshot player. You fire the coach by playing below expectations. It means the coach has no rapport with them and they don t have confidence in him. Pang is still the best BAM coach although he s not Olympic/AE champion. A coach has to know what makes his charges tick and lift them up when they re down. Show he cares about them instead of pressurizing them to perform like circus animals. Look at HH, no pressure to perform now but he actually got LD to work overtime in CHN territory. He would have a chance to speed up LD s shopping schedule if that match had been in KL Putra Stadium.

I still think it is their attitude. They are embarassed that Rexy was correct all the while.

So, the try to find a loop hole to make them look innocent. A real sad case.
If you put them to lie detector test. I think the machine will go beserk... lol.
Denial here and there. Even the machine can't take it and say.. please don't put them near me.... lmao....

I don't think they will do much better. I think Cai/Fu, both Korean teams, Setiawan/Kido, and even Mathias/Boe are better than KKK/Tan. So to me it seems reasonable for them to lose in the quarters, which I think is the natural result of the MD hierarchy at the moment.
I think the question is in the future, after the Olympics; is whether they should split up? In my opinion I think Tan is now the better player and KKK is making too many mistakes. So if Malaysia can find or produce another front court player (like LYD) who makes less mistakes, i think that would be better for them.

Agreed, but Malaysia has won the last three Boys Doubles at the World Junior Championship. So maybe a (LYD) is coming soon. However, IMHO, KKK is still the best front court Mens Doubles player in Malaysia.

Just hours ago, at the 2011 Indonesia GP Gold Finals, Vivian Hoo/Woon Khe Wei (unseeded) defeated Bao Yixin/Zhong Qianxin [8] (CHN) 19-21, 21-19, 21-18 in 75 minutes.

I wonder if Rexy Mainaky is the one who brought them the confidence to defeat their strong CHN opponents?
