Just bought this shoe from SportMart this afternoon.
    It's called "GEL-Rocket" by Asics
Very comfortable and it's only 45 bucks.
I am going to take it to the court on Wednesday and give it a tournament test drive:)

I have one, but the outsole is too wide for me and slow for moving.

I shift back to Mizuno after used two times.

I had the same pair 3 months ago and now I use it when I play vball. The shoe is a little wide but well, I have wide feet so it works well for me. :p Very comfy and plenty of support. Good price too.

I think it's pretty good for Asians.

According to some friends of mine who work in Shoe Stores, they all say that Asians have wider feet than Americans in terms of ratios (Width:Length).

So, its extra width is very good!

interesting point but I think my wide feet is because they need to support a large mass above. :D

    Well, it is true though.
Ask any people who work in Nike and they should tell you the same thing about the width ratio thing.

No...I meant by people who work at Nike stores as in malls.....
One of my friends works in a nike store at the west coast, and he told me that since he is assisting customers everyday and measuring customers' feet everyday, he found out that sometimes Asians have to buy one size larger just because they shoes are too narrow for Asians...

That's why I say Asians have wider feet ratio.

Ratio = (Width / Length), and Asians generally are 3 to 7% more than Americans

I got a asics modesto, and it took forever to break in. It was the big hump on the sole. I don't know if it is all asics shoes.

chia... well, didn't feel any "big hump on the sole" and it only took me 2 to 3 days to break them in. :)

odjn... these are indoor court shoes which means you can use them for volleyball, squash, or badminton. :)

The whole purpose of them is for you to wear indoor that's why they always have that weird looking sole - non marking sole. Some shoes will mark up the floor and if they catch you, you'll most likely be cleaning it up! :/
