M/Q Report version 1 (updated 5th September 2011) as published thorugh BWF website : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file_download.aspx?id=37810
as expected, many young INA players from big club like Djarum and Jaya Raya are going to participate here
Several of PB Djarum's MD players are in the main draw: Rian Sukmawan/Rendra Wijaya Fernando Kurniawan/Wifqi Windarto Rangga Yave Rianto/Seiko Wahyu Kusdianto And those in the qualifying draw: Dandi Prabudita/Jones Ralfy Jansen (will be in the Main Draw if one pair withdraws) Rizky Yanu Kresnayandi/Albert Saputra Lukhi Apri Nugroho/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo Praveen Jordan/Didit Juang Indrianto For Pelatnas, they are also sending a full team: the defending champion Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan Angga Pratama/Ryan Agung Saputro Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Putra Rahmanto Qualifying Draw: Mohd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi Berry Angriawan/Rahmat Adianto Andrei Adistia/Christopher Rusdianto The 2 independent pairs are also here as expected: Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra With the decline of Kido/Hendra, I hope Bona/Ahsan or Angga/Ryan can progress far here!
In WD, Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii could be facing Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda as early as QF. Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine and Suci Rizky Andini/Della Destiara Haris will not be seeded and could also face tough Japanese or Chinese pairs very early.
Despite the absence of the WR1 Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei, CHN is sending Tao Jiaming/Tian Qing who will be the top-seed and Xu Chen/Ma Jin (who will also be seeded). So, it's not going to be easy for Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir to defend their title here!
As usual, let's not hope for anything in WS as NONE of the INA players will be among the top 8 seeds (unless there are withdrawals). It will be a BONUS if any one could progress to QF.
In MS, Chen Long and Chen Jin would also be coming (barring any last minute injury or withdrawals), so, it would be difficult for either Simon or Taufik to win a title here!
IMO, yes alright Simon or Taufik will be difficult to win. But, other side it's nice to see if top player like CL and CJ participate here (GPG). The game will be more attractive audience...
