i never really string racket in singapore before, so is there any good place recommended with reasonable price? thx!
Queensway will probably be your best bet for number of different options under one roof. Of the top of my head, i can think of : - Gala - Chau Beng - New Link - Smash Sports While these few shops are the more 'common' and 'popular' stringing places, there are many different views on who does a better job .... one man's meat is another man's poison. Of the 4 shops listed above .... Gala, New Link and Smash Sports will string your racket on the spot and your waiting time will depend on their current workload at the time. Chau Beng will require you to leave your racket there for 2 - 3 days .... period.
So far i have tried and always look forward to stringing at 1) Queensway - Paragon 2) AMK - E-Link Sports
Actually the most reasonable price is to be strung by freelancers...their fees inclusive of strings is easily $4-8 cheaper than market rate.....if ur strings breaks often or u got a tendency to change string within 2-3mths, i think freelancers work out better for me....no compromise on the quality of the strings or workmanship as well
PM 'sgbad' from this forum, ie Badminton Market, great work, awesome person to deal with. http://badminton-market.weebly.com/local--singapore.html

dhomosapien, It's not far from Woodlands sports complex. U can call 9011-5106 before you go. They are charging $13 for Yonex BG66 when it was $16 ~ $18 elsewhere. The re-stringing quality is good, I don't have string alignment problem during play. Rgds.
Can look for francis @ 96673639 who stays at Punggol area or Sgbad (Ambert) @ 98579441 who stays at Sengkang....both pricing quite similar. e.g BG80 at $15.....francis strings more tighter than Ambert for the same tension....so it's definitely a trial and error for the 1st time u use their services....both workmanship and customer-service is excellent
E-Link Sports Blk 716 #01-4024 Ang Mo Kio Central Ave 6 Singapore 560716 Anyone tried re-string before? good? BG66 price?
Yes. All my strings were done here, so I can't compare with other stringers. Bg66 price is cheaper than some shops in queensway though not as cheap as the mentioned freelancers.
Yesterday i took service from Woodlands Blk 111 shop. He did a nice & Fast job and charge me very reasonable. I am not sure what machine he using, but looks a professional one. The guy also very polite and friendly. I bought few Protech cocks and some hand grips also there. I recommend this guy.
