LN didn't play at her best, defeated by Eom/Ko, got pushed to the back at 1st set (and maybe at 3rd set).
While Tantowi simply didn't help when LN is in trouble.

    Incredible.. Congratulations to Ko/Eom.
They have beated 4 seeded players in a row. 3 matches were just in straight set.
WR #5 TPE pairs, and 3 top INA XD.

Actually, I should not be too surprised. As I said, Ko Sung Hyun is a talented player. He has very good defense.
Waiting other surprise from this pair next week.

Ko/Eom should meet WR #1 ZN/ZYL in second round China Master.
Will they deliver another upset or be crumbled?

IMHO, badminton like other sport is not simply mathematical formula.
I believe currently each LYD and HJE is respectively the best MD and WD player KOR have.
but, it is not directly put they are the best combination in XD.

May be just my subjective opinion.
Looking from results during first semester this year. LYD/HJE did not deliver very good result.
They still could not compete with CHN player or ToLyn.

Even in last Sudirman, KOR still give two crucial XD matches to SHK/HJE.

By the way, perhaps Eom Hye Won can be better pair for SHK right now. Let's see if KOR will retain this pair. At least they will play in both China Master and Japan Super Series in next two weeks.
