I'm on 24lbs. Found that it's made my game easier. Not a big smasher so the high tension kinda hampers my game.

Sweet-looking racket that's for sure! Glad you're having a blast with your s-lite. I've yet to try mine out after the restring.

Okey! Well as long as it fits YOU it doesn't matter what tension it is imo. Just noticed that S-lite doesn't really deliver the speed when playing doubles, or is it just me ?

I'll try Sunday and let you know about the speed thing. I've noticed quicker reflexes when I handle lighter rackets but may also be because I switch from 3U to 4U in a session and it's more noticible?

Yeah do that! Well, it's pretty logical that a lighter racket is easier to adjust with. My previous racket was a Li-ning N90-ii which is a quite a head heavy racket, can REALLY feel a difference while defending!

You can train yourself to be quick with head heavy rackets too. What I do is juggle the shuttle in my room (smaller space the better) as fast as you can and train up the reaction speed and accuracy.

Will prob try the S-Lite for singles tomorrow.

does anyone have any experience with a 'prototype v1.0' just seen one in town.. looks like it is reduced hugely in price - could be tempted if it's ok.

I saw the prices dip at SportDirect too... I heard from my stringer that the frames are susceptible to breaking from the strings, but then they might have improved it in the Rv1.0.

But then again, no one else reports this so it may just be a case of clearing old stock.

the string on my prototype slips off the groove. maybe the tension is not adequate. but its my fav racket at the moment.

We've got a nice testimonial there, sounds like it's worth a try. If it breaks at least you got it off a killer sale.

Starting to get more and more used to the VT S-lite, really comfortable to defend with very easy to adjust around the body. Though smashes isn't that hard anymore still a very good racket!
Really wanna try the Carlton Proto but just bought two rackets :O. The Carlton Proto 1.1 seems really good tho!
