This video depicts Lin Dan being a good sport ambassador by having to play an amateur.

It is also a good way to promote the sport by having a badminton player you idolize in school to kids. Even if you are really not a fan of badminton, having a player of Lin Dan's status exchanging shots with you can be thrilling all of a sudden. It may also awaken young aspirations out of the blue. So imagine to the astonishment of an aspiring young kid who appreciates the sport very much.

Playing with your idol or getting the chance to do so, unearths new talent. Hopefully a young 6-7 year old lad who would some day be Malaysia's replacement for LCW in the near future.
