still working on the review. here is some pictures. IMHO one of the best looking racket. (but not the best hitting one i am afraid...)
it looks like at this point that there will be 2 series. XFeel with shared holes and Satelite with non-shared holes and a 6.5mm shaft. Satelite tend to be less stiff with the thin shaft and both series have the 20x21 pattern.
managed to hit some more with this. not bad. not bad at all. a racket with one of the best in terms of crispness of shots as well as excellent stability and feel. i still have one more racket ahead of this to be reviewed. when that is done, i will do more extensive testing and write a review. but so far, this seems to be a winner.
ooo, 6.5 mm flexible shaft? that pretty scary. VT80 is like 6.8mm and its xtra stiff. is it balanced? reviews!!!
Here are the spec for the 6.5 range. I wonder if the paintwork for the 6.5 power is just as nice. If it is, that could be the next racket that I will be buying to test
I will never buy a Babolat racket. They make high quality stuff, no offense, but in my opinion the handles are too short. I wouldn't work for me and feel strange.
any babolat users who care to share your reviews for some reason i found babolat ve the shortest handle thefore allow a much longer shaft thus increase flex to generate power for smashing however due to lack of stiffness the accuaracy to the line where a bit out
I bought this racket after i saw the pics in this thread. Thanks Kwun. No regrets and its paintwork is indeed gorgeous. i placed it standing side by side with my victor SP21 and Apac lethal 9 to compare and the shaft all start at the same point after the cone connector. It does not have a longer shaft. it only looks like the handle is shorter because the cone connector(pilot system) on the handle is longer.@ucantseeme, just wrap your overgrip over the cone(pilot system) as you do with your other rackets and voila! same handle length!
It's a gorgeous racket. Which one should I get...the power or blast? Not like I need another racket .
Hi, I also went a got a few Babolat's a couple of months ago. I like the X-Feel Power - feels very good - I was impressed - especially since it is the top range and cost-wise around AU$150, not bad compared to Yonex prices. At the same time, I picked up some older Satelite racquets from 2007, a Brio and a Synchro - I haven't yet played with them but plan to do so soon.
pretty expensive for non-main stream racket. dont think i'd pick it up unless i hear loads of raving reviews about it
