I try to get a new racket so can you suggest me which one between this two racket that suit me better. This are some info about me: - love head-heavy racket - I usually play doubles ( so I think of 4u vt80 cause i read that 3u is too heavy for doubles, for N50II i not sure) - Intermidate player - Smash quiet a lot Please suggest me the racket and should I get 3u or 4u.
I have a VT80 3U and I don't find it very heavy... I actually found it very light and easy to maneuver! I'm contemplating adding lead tape on it... One complaint I have about the VT80 is that it feels flexy and I sometimes get the feeling the shaft and the cone is getting loose...
Are you playing doubles with your VT80? I found that the VT80 is a bit slower than my old Kimoni racket which was 4U and even-balanced. But I could never generate the power in my smash as I can with the VT80.
Yup... I'm playing doubles with it.. I actually consider my VT80 more a doubles racquet... If I play singles with my friends, I tend to use my AT900P... Mind you the doubles matches I play aren't very competitive but I have no issues with using the VT80 in doubles...
i have the lining N50II. and have tried the vt80 of my friend's. i find the n50II comparatively slower than the vt80. Also, i kind of get a muted feeling from the n50II when hitting shots, not much feel. i would say it has a soft-medium shaft. vt80 on the other hand has much better manouverability. you can feel the shots better and you will know when you hit a good smash. overall, i personally prefer the vt80 over n50II. if just comparing these two. my n50II is now gathering dust in the drawer... anyone who would like to buy a tip top condition rarely used n50II?
