pretty racket deserves a nice photo shoot.

having said that, i do notice that Yonex is taking a slightly different direction on graphics design.

while the whole design of the 700FX/RP is pretty Yonexian, there are some new elements that they put in:

    1. large model name fonts. IIRC, this is the first time Yonex use such large wrap around fonts on the shaft. other manufacturers have done this long ago but Yonex is catching up on it:

    2. new more vertical patterning that was started with the VT80:

    3. and i don't know what this pattern is, but it does look nice. the FX has it too but it is silver on while so i didn't manage to capture it properly.

    4. and lastly Yonex using non-silver glitter.

Just want to bring up another design change. To add stability to the new NR700, Evil Empire added additional strip or graphite on the side from B2 to B10. See picture 4. Sorry, I was asked to mention this point. Usually the aero frame are less stable than box frame. Also, you might find a surprise when you hit an off center shot near the top of the frame. Yes, it might break if you smash too hard...

Tribal pattern on the inside, in red.
Very totem-ish feel there... I like!

Hmmm, it gives me the yips...totem embedded specifically on the inside. Maybe, must work up a chant before the charm can be harnessed.

Alien tech spells advance tech? Advance equals hi-tech? Not exactly? Yes? No?

Used the 700rp today, this is the best racket I've ever used for drives! But I feel it lacks in every other area.

No comment. The racquet might cost $400 a pop with all the stiffening tech.
