thats consider cheap. from the catalogue recommended string for nanoray racket is bg80power. but from yonex japan website, the recommended string is nbg98 and bg66m. but i prefer bg80power bcoz it design for hard hitter.

You switch from a ultimate head heavy smashing weapon into a head light speedy sword....
Totally different style of play... thats wat he meant by HUGE different.

Besides, NR-700FX shaft is not as stiff as VT-80...
So it should be lesser burden to you...

I'm still waiting for the reviews of both NR700RP and NR700FX, or better yet, comparison between the two. Anyone, please?

Just a very short review for you, as I am not very good in it.

    NR-700RP, 3UG5, NBG98 27lbs strung with Yonex ES5Protech Digital Machine.

    My main racket was NS-9900, 3UG5 (was NBG98 27lbs, now BG80Power 27lbs).
Managed to get NR-700RP when I successfully claimed my AT600 last month and trade it with this.

    Had 2-3 sessions with it,
Attack: Obvious head heavier than NS9900, still consider head light balance though, maybe the bp is higher than 9900. This makes it easier to generate powerful smashes compared to NS9900.
Placement and netplay are still easy due to its shaft stiffness, no problem with drives.

Defence: Swing speed is quick, although NS9900 is still quicker slightly.
Back court clears/ stroke not that relaxing (maybe is my own problem not the racket), but mostly more than half court.
Defencing smashes is easy due to its swing speed.

Might try a few more session with it to be more certain, but overall it is a very decent headlight racket.
