And there was mention of a replacement series for the NanoSpeed, supposedly going to be named NanoRay with a NR700FX/RP in the pipeline in 3 and 4U. New shoes SHB 65FT :p and some new bags n stuff.

    Oh yeah BG80POWER [IMG] ...

Yeah; and looks like the MX70 as well, like the VT80 colour combo wise equals MX80 ...

More paraphrased information on the Nanoray 700:

    1. Both the FX and RP versions will be of stiff flex

    2. The FX version will have the longer shaft/shorter handle combination of VT70/80 while the RP version will have the shorter shaft/longer handle combination of AT900

    3. The weight class of the Nanoray 700 is 3U/4U and is noticeably head heavy; the exact head weight characteristic has yet to be revealed

BG80 Power will be advertised as a version of the standard BG80 with more durability. I am guessing this will be achieved with either the outer core coating as used on BG65 Power and BG66 Sharp or with the "High-Intensity Multi-Filament Nylon" core as used on BG66 Maxima and Ultimax.

I could not find much more information on SHB65FT other than it being a replacement for SHB65CF. Lastly, the BAG1111W will be replaced by the BAG1201W.

Why would it be head heavy? Didn't that "heavy" have to do with a lack of 2U in this series?

Yes, I must have read it wrongly. The descriptions provided there just says "quite noticably heavy" which is quite an ambiguous meaning.

The Nanoray 700 is also said to be a revised or updated version of the Nanospeed 7000 in a similar fashion as the VT80 to the Armortec 700.

You 're right. They even used it in Malaysia Open 2009. After that, they had already not using NS9900 but changed to Ti-10 instead.

Haha, yes those are the ones from badmania and no way those specs are correct as they also mention themselves ... Didn't think the pics added much from the poster so left them out as well. Probably could've mentioned which colour is which model I guess but still early ...

*sigh - more ugly Yonexes. I'd go for the top-end Nanorays anyway, so let's hope they're not like those deckchairs above. I see some rip-offery from the Arcsabers as well at 3/9...
