----->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Voltric 80 Cone no: 050412HK Shaft no: 2508274 source : friend's friend (used) ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8--- Hi guys, Today i feel very worry, as i'm not a rich badminton player, who save my money for quite sometimes to buy my dream vt80. happily bring it back and change the grip, and i cover the whole cone too with it. feel very suprise later as i try to uncover it back, the yonex wording and logo on the cone started to peel off along with the grip. this make me feel so suspicious, then i take out the sticker that covering the serial number on the cone, and again, i cant believe it comes with HK code. Is this FAKE VT80? Huh.. Here i enclose some picture and details of the racket. please if anyone could help me. i'm really worried.

thats right. i never seen any HK code before, ( most are SP, JP, TH). i did properly check everything like logo, buttcap, etc except serial number cause it is cover with yonex holograms sticker. so, is this fake or authentic?

Actually many people have reported problems with the paint of the original. I have bought a couple of VT80s from Japan (JP coded serial) and they have both had quite serious quality issues. One had bubbles in the paint on the frame. both have been extremely easy to get paint-chips and the second one feels different (much flexier shaft).

I am really not impressed with their current QC.. But I have not bothered to claim warranty for the poor quality :). I love and mostly use my old Mizunos anyway, even though I have to admit I have been very impressed with the latest Victors and Li-Nings :)

Hi i had the same thing happened to me. My grip tape covered the yonex logo and it peeled away when I removed the tape. I was quite annoyed. Not sure about the HK coding tho...
