    Default Shuttlecock factories

    Hello,

do everyone know from which chinese factory Yonex AS-50 and Aeroplane EG-1130 shuttlecocks come from?
I heard some rumors that they are produced in the same factory....is that true?
Maybe thatīs the reason why they are both one of the very best shuttlecocks ever!

no. they are not the same factory.

Aeroplane is made in Shanghai Badminton in Zhen Jiang.

    AS50's factory is in Ningbo.

the EG1130 and AS50 have very different construction and feel.

Hey kwun, thanks for your quick answer!
Now there will be no more rumor about it

But what kind of different feel do they have?
Iīm not an expert, so I cannot give a professional statement of my own.

Which of them do you like most?
I only can say that they are my favorite shuttlecock on the market! But maybe Iīm wrong.

    I hope you can help!

And moreover: do you know the address of the factories in Shanghai and Ningbo?

    thanks a lot!

AS50 is the gold standard. it is very consistent in flight, feeling is crisp, stiff and slightly weighty. and also last quite long.

EG1130 is also very consistent in flight, the feeling is not as stiff and crisp as AS50, and slightly more compact and less weighty. its durability is unrivaled. however, EG1130 tends to slowdown faster as it gets more and more wearing during the game.

    EG1130 is this factory:

AS50 factory is kind of a secret as that's how Yonex wants it.

EG1130 also cheaper than AS50. with the durability and flight taken into account, EG1130 is a much much better value.

just check my shuttle storage. must have used around 40 tubes in the last 18 months.

that's around 1 tube every 2 weeks. not bad given both my wife and I play.

Would you be placing big group order any time soon? I find I'm using about 1 tube per week, and would be looking for some good deal real soon.

    Hello Michael23,

I only have contact details of Chao Pai factory in Shenzhen. You find it on the picture below:

Itīs possible to contact them directly, but you have to order at least 500 or 1000 dozens.
Mr. Ma is a very kind person and will answer all your email requests.
