Up for a very good tournament for kids to become a badminton star. The venue is very nice, new and complete facilities. Thumbs up for SBA
My friends and I dropped by the new SBH yesterday evening to catch some doubles action. The sitting area is too close to the courts and you could see the spectators walking along the baselines during play. I saw a child almost straying onto the court during one of the matches. There is also inadequate sitting area for the spectators and I reckon it would be very chaotic when the Youth International tournament starts in two weeks time. If you plan to drop by, please bring along a fan as its very warm in the hall.
Agree, court 1- 4 is too close to the spectator area. SBA should make more regular announcement to remind spectator to be more aware when walking along the courtside. Warm because it has no wind, better control for the players but a hell for spectator
Interestingly this morning the SBA players Gerald Ong, Ngo Yi Chye and Muhd Asraf Bin Ishak lost their QF singles matches to ex-national players Aaron, Swee Hau and Erwin respectively. The semi-finals this evening will start at 6pm and the finals will take place tomorrow at 1pm. http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=18EAF4CE-1EAE-447C-82E8-1419C38BC779 http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...EAF4CE-1EAE-447C-82E8-1419C38BC779&d=20111210
