This may sound outrageous... but what do you guys think about using guitar string on a badminton racket? The material on a guitar string seems to be more durable than badminton ones.
Kwun that answers your 'how to make a training racket' thread! Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good.
yeah. i was going in that direction. in fact, i already ordered a pack of stainless steel wire to try it out. i am not too convince at this point how much weight it will add though, to make a 3U racket into a proper training racket it will require around 40grams. that seems a lot for something that thin. i guess we will find out.
the metal strings might just bite right into the cork of the bird with a hard enough smash or a few slices. The nylon may take a bit longer.
instead of giving us the video while you playing with it, just send us the sound recording XD We might know what you were doing by listening to the "song" you played XD
maybe not Santana, but definitely Mary had a little lamb. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/122383-Musical-Arcsaber-10.-)
hahaha. how on earth that such this idea does exist. i cannot hold my laughter. hahahaha. damn funny. just imagine when smashing instead of sound like "paaaammmm" it turned out to be "greeeeeng greeeeenggg greeennng (and people start to head banging).
