I've seen quite a lots of questions bout how do u spot a counterfeit Yonex rackets, n i was wondering has anyone posted on Yonex shoes as well? i duno bout other parts of d world, but here in malaysia, fake yonex shoes are almost everywhere..
Take out the shoe sole and check the reverse side, the original one is very neat and nice with serial number while the counterfeit ones do not have nice and neat workmanship.
Wow... you mean everything here http://www.badminton365.com/category-11-b0-Shoes.html is fake ? Here in KL - I was planning to my first pair of Yonex shoes, from Perfect Sports at Pertama Complexs. Now I am concerned if the shoes are original or fake... Where do you buy your Yonex shoes ?
Badminton 365 is famous for selling fake badminton stuff such as racket and shoes yes, that one definitely fake, there is no way Yonex would sell their SHB series for $42! (it would cost a lot more than that) they are also on e-bay under name: bigshow
I dont think there are fake yonex shoes selling in malaysia. If not mistaken the most expansive yonex shoe is the LCW edition SHB-102ltd. Is selling around RM 350 in the market. Compare to a branded walking shoe like nike, reebok,adidas..etc. Is not that really expansive. And if you are playing atleast 2 times badminton per week. It is cheaper than the walking branded shoe you had. And you might only wear your walking shoes once a week if you are wearing other kind of shoes for working? personally for me. I got 3 pairs of nike, 2 pairs boots, 2 pairs of sketches. But guess what. I only might got chance to wear it once a while. But i play 3 times badminton per week. Since you want to walk comfort with branded shoe, why dony you also use a comfort shoe to protect and play badminton? (just personal opinion)
Thanks Alan, Am thinking between getting either an SHB and Ultima. Will have to weight and decide between price, comfort and design. Currently using a Line 7 court shoe (RM 35, age 2 months), and a backup pair of Adidas Wirano Badminton shoes (really nice red, RM 129, age 2 weeks). I play twice a week, and may likely to be playing more often to 3 times a week. Average play each time is 2 hours, hence if I play 3 times a week - that would be total of 6 hours a week. Therefore I was thinking of getting some decent pair of of shoes to last, and not just wear out one pair. I tend to alternate the usage of shoes - so that they last longer. Didn't know I'm so much into shoes, until I started playing badminton
Get from ETAKOH in pertama complex... Meet Eric the shop owner and tell him u are recommended and hopefully he would give u a FAT discount!
