    Yup! 30 lbs.

Taufik Hidayat uses BG66 Ultimax 32 lbs.
Lin dan used to use BG65 30 X 33 lbs. I don't know about his Li Ning string.

PG uses BG80 36 lbs (not sure)

Taufik Hidayat is using and endorsing BG66UM and as far as I know Peter Gade is a (long time) BG80 user, sorry I don't know either of their tensions.

Unfortunately there seems to be very little information around regarding the Chinese players choice of strings and tension since they switched to Li-Ning, and very little about Li-Ning strings generally!

Why restrict this to just singles players?

There is no such thing as 30x33lbs tension especially with the professional stringers who all do the same tension for both the mains and cross strings for convenience.

FYI LD uses a range of tension from 30 to 33lbs depending on "mood". So does LCW, too at exactly the same range as LD although he has been using mostly only just 30lbs recently.

Peter Gade has been using and is still using BG80 at a range of tension from 32 to 34lbs.

Peter Gade was saying in one of the bwf magazine videos that he plays with 34lbs tension. I think its episode 4 of the magazine show.

Most of their players use NS70.. they should be similar in durability to bg80. maybe an old batch. or was just unlucky :) I have broken bg65s in 2 hours as well, if poor luck.. But maybe quality issues?

OMG guys, this is amazing, I switched to Lin Dan's exact setup and now I play as well as Lin Dan.
Going to try Peter Gade's racket and string combo and try his trick shots tomorrow.

    LOL.

I Just asked Jan O at livechat about strings and tension, and he says he doesn't know what he plays with xD He only knows it's Li-Ning and about 14-15 kg.
