Hi all, can you please verify if my Victor BraveSword 09 is real or not? I just received it from BadmintonShopOnline and I understand that they're a legit vendor, however the design of the BS09 that I have is completely different from the photos that I've seen online: (see attached for photos) - instead of "Brave Sword" at 5 o'clock, there's only "Sword"; - the print design at 12 o'clock is different - there's different lines and no "Square Head Shape"; - there's no flex guide (ie. "Flexible -----|----- Stiff") on the shaft near the cone, only the engraved specs on the cone; - balance is mid, but I read somewhere that it was supposed to be slightly HL; - butt cap is blue (I understand this is true for "newer" model Victor rackets); Thanks in advance...
thanks for the quick reply demolidor. i've been scouring the equipment forums all afternoon, but couldn't find any other threads with the specific answers i'm looking for. where was that question asked?
Found it, already dropped down to page 2! (of the main equipment thread section): http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...638-Victor-BS09-Reviews?p=1760281#post1760281 In short this is an updated design. Personally liked it better with the full "Brave Sword" on it ... well maybe not anymore after seeing it again after a long time .
I was wondering if they did the same to the SW35 as well, because my 1 month old SW35 says Aerodynamic where it said Superwaves on other models and it doesnt say square head shape on the top of the racket
My Brave Sword 11 has the word "Sword" painted on the frame instead of "Brave Sword." I thought it was fake because of that but does this mean it could real. Here's the link for pictures of my BS 11 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/110006-Fake-Victor-Brave-Sword-11
