I used Z slash previously , it is actually a thin frame. I think if anyone wants make rim shots but very rarely then only it is useful.

I have used BG66UM @ 24lbs I liked it but I dont like that the string loses tension.
    I have used BG66 @ 25lbs I liked it but now I am stringing it at 26lbs

would you guys recommend stringing the z slash with nanogy 98 @ 25 lbs? or would you rather use a thicker string? i heard the .66 strings break real easy.

    It depends on your preference.

What is your style of play??

i play both singles and doubles to an equal amount i guess. i am M/23, play about 6h per week.
i would describe my play style as balanced. i like to smash, but usually my stamina is not good enough to be on the agressive side all the time.
my z-slash came factory strung, which is @ 20 lbs i guess (?) and strung with bg 55.

my z slash is factory strung with bg 55 and i guess about 20 lbs. i heard that would be the normal factory string tension.
    so what would you suggest?
    Hmmm...
What don't you try a tension of 24lbs?? A lot of people generally start of with that tension.
The strings, if you like smashing and want durability I would suggest the Nanogy 98, they are nice strings but after several months they might feel dull

When I changed around the 24-27lb range,
I personally dont feel much of a change between 24 or 25lbs but between 24-26lbs I notice it especially, on the Z-Slash

I m hearing a lot of bs here. If you are used to low tension and want to go higher do it step by step. Also rackets react differently when you change tension. And in my opinion, ZS has nothing to do in the hand of a 14 yold intermediate player, as this racket is made for fast and strong hitter and can unleash its full potential only at high tension (as you can read in this post, most of them used it at high tension).
    This said good luck
