My parents are going to china next month, planning to "chop" them for a Li-ning racket XD However... I am really not familiar with Li-Ning rackets. So I'm asking for opinions from all fellow members, regarding Li-Ning racket spec for my own reference. I'm currently own a N50II, which i find it's a little bit too flexible for me. I've been playing with VT70 as well, both are heavy headed (which I'm quite enjoying it), however same problem with N50II, TOO FLEXIBLE... I'm looking for rackets with these 2 kind of specs... 1. Heavy Headed, Stiff (wont mind to try out extra stiff... Something like mx70??) 2. Light Headed, Extra Stiff (Something like NS9900) So, any recommendation???
but i'm not sure if n90 is head light tho, i've used it and it's quite heavy, but then again my forearm is known to be very weak
I have read some of the reviews on LN racket, I found out that all the N series is Heavy Headed, is it true?? How about the stiffness of racket?? Can anyone recommend any racket with the stiffness between N50II and N90II??
There is no XStiff Li-Ning. MX70 XStiff ???? another one I didn’t know. Coming from an N50II, I would try N55 or better (for me): BP301C if you play more singles or BP300C if you play more doubles. A bit stiffer, probably the stiffest Li-Ning, head heavy but not too much: BP770. Eventually Kason TSF300 Ti. Light headed XStiff Li-Ning or Kason actual racquets, I don’t know any. Again, if you have a very weak forearm, I don’t understand why you’re looking for XStiff racquets.
what i meant is something extra stiff or something stiff like MX70. Well, i think I am strong enough to try out a stiff or extra stiff racket, as I find vt70 and n50II really too soft for me. I tried VT80(Heavy head + extra stiff) half year ago, almost ripped my arm off when smashing XD so i was thinking of trying light head extra stiff racket. From LN racket chart, I do notice N55 and N55II do come close to what I want, which is stiffer than vt70 and n50II. However, I did search through all the websites regarding N55 and N55II specs, there weren't any exact info on them, as some stated medium stiff, some stated stiff... I really dont know which one to trust... I do play more on double, however I've never really pay any attention to BP series, i think i should go dig some info about them. Personally, I do prefer N50 1st gen instead of N50II as it is more rigid. Same story between N55 1st gen and N55II. Effectively N55 is stiffer than N50 or VT70, but not as stiff as N90 1st gen or VT80, which for me isn't extra stiff but stiff. I do play from a couple of week in singles and mixed doubles with the same extra stiff racquet, with success (3 finals, 2 victories), with different tensions for different series, and I can tell you this is an extra stiff racquet (Forza 550 VS). I tried VT80 & MX80 in 3U, they weren't stiff enough for my play. This to explain my personal angle. However that may be, N55 could be a good try for what you're looking for.
head heavy stiff = N90-II but N55 seems to be popular at the moment dun think they have head light rackets or else as demolidor pointed out Lei Yao (SG) is sponsored by Li-Ning but still playing with Yonex NS9900 ...
