Has anyone tried these types of stringing patterns on badminton racquets? http://www.stringerspad.com/atw.html
atw is mainly for stringing top down with one piece stringing. badminton rackets are usually better strung bottom-up.
I've been discussing with some colleagues and they indicate that top-down vs down-top would depend on the tension of the racquet (i.e. 28lbs+ would require a top-down). Any ideas? In the past, I've used the following: ATW: Top-Down Haribito: Down-Top
from my experience, at any tension doing top-down (esp higher tension) will compress the top of the frame so much that it is impossible to retain the racket shape. what's your pattern for doing ATW in badminton?
Where do you start your top-down pattern? From the very top or perhaps 1/3 the way down like in the ATW method? B - Bottom, T - Top Short side: B10 to 13T (main) 13T to 15T (2 holes away) 15T to 12B (main) 12B to 9B (3 holes away) 9B to 9B (cross) 9B to 15T (main) 15T to 13T (2 holes away) 13T to 13T (main) - continue all the way up and knot at 5T long side 10B to 13T (main) 13T to 14T (1 hole away) 14T to 14T (cross) - continue all the way down until B10 and knot at B8.
