I have a very cheap drop weight by eagnas (Hawk 16), after going through 200m of cheap string to learn, I'm ready to string my racket seriously, and I've realized that I shouldn't have been cheap and buy this cheap machine.

    1) The racket holder on this machine sucks, 2 point clamp system and it take up space so it's hard to clamp near the top/bottom.

    2) Drop weight is fine, but the string gripper sucks.

So I'm thinking something simple. with 6 clams and a decent gripper would be perfect.

I'm scare of eagnas, the product is so bad, is there another place/brand where I can order other machines from?

some good brands that has price in that range, and available in the US:

    - Gamma - progression st2 is a good solid crank
    - Alpha - Revo 4000
    - Alpha - Shuttle Express

slightly more expensive than Eagnas but you get better quality.

I just got my second Eagnas yesterday. The COMBO 910 and put it together and used it on 3 racquets after calibration. It is perfect. I highly recommend it.

In June 2011, I bought an Eagnas Combo 810 which is the 910 model without the stand. Mine has been perfect too. There are a lot of people who complain of Eagnas quality, but there are also plenty like myself and AZbadman that have had good luck with Eagnas.

I hv a good Eagnas Combo 912 and Smart-990H too.
Eventhough the quality is not as good as AEF, but with the price I paid is OK.

The problem with the crank machines is the lack of constant pulling. What do you think about this?

Okay, what do you guys think is a good table top 6-point crank machine with self centering shoulder support adjustments (aka: one knob adjusts both arms)?
