I'm looking for affordable and durable shuttlecocks for my school club Last year, we used the yellow DNA's. This year we switched to Wilson Topline 60s but switching again cuz some people didn't like it. So our choices now are: aeroplane green label hi-qua reds are these any good? what are some affordable&durable&consistent birdies? our budget per tube is around $16-18 and will probably buy in bulk
depending on your size of "bulk". is it hundreds? or thousands? you can order aeroplane black directly from China for around $16. i think you need to order 500+ to get that price. maybe sell them on the side and make some money for the club? wilson 60 is pretty bad quality. 80 isn't much better. HQ reds are also pretty bad. aeroplane green, when i used to use them, was OK.
we cant order that many... out of our budget. perhaps like 50-100 tubes max. i wonder if i can order AS30s directly from yonex for like $16/$17 per tube hmm... any other alternatives?
HQ Reds are pretty bad? On the contrary I remember reading various posts on this forum saying it was good! I'm now confused...
I know Li-Ning is rolling out educational programs in the near future. I dont know how much discount they are offering or if its going to be regional or national program just yet. But I will post here when i get more information.
It is a pity that your quantity is only 50-100tubes, if you can order more than 500tubes one time, you can cosider our shuttles.
LOL 500 tubes? i dont think most school clubs have that kind of money... we have trouble raising money for everything haha what are your shuttlecocks though?
Try Mybadminton store as I buy mine from there for my club. We use HQ gold but be sure to steam them before you use and warm up properly as bad timing will surely wreck a good shuttle
