Currently have a Carlton PU overgrip over my YY 3UG5, orig grip intact w/o the plastic.

I find myself a bit slow when changing grips (forehand -> backhead) when defending against smashes.

My right hand roughly measures 18.5cm (from bottom of palm to tip of middle finger).

Would removing my original and getting a replacement grip (so that overall handle diameter is reduced) next time help? Incidentally, would removal of the original grip affect resale value?
