What: CCBG & SBC presents: BEACH BUM BADMINTON CHARITY TEAM TOURNAMENT Doubles Tournament When: Saturday, December 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] – Sunday, December 4[SUP]th[/SUP], 2011 Begins @ 9:00 am Where: Sunridge Badminton Centre 401 - 33rd Street NE, Calgary, AB Cost: $45.00/player (includes entry fee, feather shuttles, lunch and prizes) How to enter: Register your team via email @ tyip88@gmail.com Entry fee is payable by cash or cheque ( to Tommy Yip) Deadline: Saturday, November 26th Format: All Doubles – minimum 3 per team – teams determine pairings prior to play Draws will be split into A/B/C/D – 32 team cap Pool Play (Day 1) - Guaranteed 3 pool ties; Elimination Round (Day 2) - Guaranteed 1 tie - Play all 3 games per tie; Winner determined by games won!!! - Standard game to 21 points - Point advantages for XD and WD teams • MD vs. WD – WD starts with a 6 pt advantage + serve • MD vs. XD – XD starts with a 5 pt advantage + serve • XD vs. WD - WD starts with a 4 pt advantage + serve - Point advantage bonus point • A 1 pt advantage will be awarded if you can come up with a compelling reason.
