    Hi all,

I just bought a Apacs lethal 70 from Apacs US/Canada. The web site state that the racket max tension is 45lbs, but the label on the racket actually said 35lbs, is it normal, or I got an older version lethal which had the max tension as 35lbs. The racket actually have the CA code on it. I know I'll never string the racket anywhere near the max tension, but just want to make sure I didn't get an older version of it.

    Thanks

they did it just for fun.. no one test that it could handle 45lbs (IMO, they are trolling)

it is the max tension NOT the warranty tension
maybe on the label is the warranty tension (if you strung above that tension if something happens to your racket is not apacs' fault)

I don't remember they have 2 version of lethal 70? CMIIW

I did strung it to 32x35 lbs with Ashaway Zymax 70. Yet string snapped due to a mis-hit in less than 25 minutes. Worst of the worst string snapped during a warm-up session.

On second attempt, strung to 30 x 33 lbs with apacs stren66 string. Manage to play with in a full 21 point set of MD. Unfortunately, string snapped again due to mis-hit prior to the second set of MD. Tough luck I bet.

Just sharing my experience on this racquet.

    Cheers!

    Best regards,
    Albert

I have the edgesabre Z-spark and they say max tension 35lbs, I strung it to 33x36lbs BG65Ti and it's still going now.
The frames are pretty strong, but I doubt a string could last long enough to test if the racquet could do 45lbs.
