    string weight

one badminton string on average weighs around 4-6 grams, depending on texture and thickness.

10m is around 4-5g. When strung on racket, it's around 3.1-3.8g depending on core material (zymax is pretty heavy and dense), thickness, etc. Why less? Because there's usually 1m of string leftover unused and discarded.
