I believe I heard Gill Clark online briefly on the IOC Youtube channel doing commentary for these Olympics. It was a fleeting snippit, though, as I could endure neither the buffering nor the proxy headaches, but I think I heard her.

Well they did perform below that they believe to be their possibilities.....as far as I'm concerned though they actually did very well for their potential

GC is commenting on the IOC YT channel btw. Streaming is awful with a proxy and there is no other way for me to get it around here....that's just ****ed up. If no one is actually broadcasting the stuff, you might as well allow the few interested people to view it anyway!

BTW, who the F can actually view that stream?? It's blocked all over Europe as far as I can tell and in Canada, too....apart from a few developing or third world countries, I mean.

Just noticed that in every XD match in the Olympics she explained how Men are more powerful and thus play from the back while Women go to the front because they're more agile (which is just not true, btw....there's a reason MD is the fastest discipline^^). Not always the exact same choice of words, but usually starts with "Of course, Men are more powerful [...]"
So great to have her commenting on these Games. The '08 stuff is goddamn awful, if LYD hadn't played so brilliantly I wouldn't ever watch that XD final again

And the other matches are only marginally better (concerning the commentary) :/

The time I missed Gill most was that KOR/CHN WD game - she'd have gone ballistic over that cheating, and that would have been extremely entertaining.

You can see that game in one of the IOC streams.....she actually DID comment on that one. Very diplomatically....saying she wasn't sure what she could actually say about it, and that the reaction of the crowd was very telling.

I just like the way she says "CONTORTING HER BACK" haha, she's using this very often now a days. anyways.. .she kind of makes the matches so interesting with her commentary, a nice commentator i must say.

Must be during her playing days, GC didn't do much contorting ...... yup, come to think of it, contorted backs were at a premium during the 70s and 80s era.
