There’s a badminton club that runs on Tuesday evenings at the JFS School in Kingsbury. Kodak Badminton Club is looking for more members having lost member after moving venues and changing the club night, particularly ladies where they are looking to develop the squad for league matches. Though we have lost players we still have a strong core of players and the new venue and day may be more convenient for others. If you’re interested you can contact us on:- KodakBC@gmail.com The club plays at :- JFS School The Mall Kingsbury, Middx HA3 9TE The club runs from 7pm to 10pm every Tuesday and you can play as long as you like during that time. Shuttles are provided and they have 4 Courts for the 3 hours. The peg system operates to allow players to rotate on and off court. Players are rated according to ability though the players are of an intermediate standard at the bottom end. Ideally you'll be of a competetive standard and have an interest in playing in leagues if you're looking to join. You can come along as a guest twice to try it out for the club to make an assessment and pay £6 per evening but then you have to decide if you want to join (if accepted). The club will make an assessment if you’re suitable to join. If you decide to join then any guest fees you’ve paid count towards the membership fee for that term. The club does some social things too but people come along to as much or as little of that as it suits them.
