I often get into problem of unable to see the shuttle when my partner serves. My partner blocks my view. Iam at the rear court and see only after the opponet had hit the shuttle.
Is that my problem to manage the line of sight or should I ask my partner to move?
    Your tipps please!

I used to have this problem. The best way I found was to crouch down a little and stand a little to the receiver's side. Crouching/squatting a little is also good for accelerating off the mark.

Hmm, what I do is stand on his left/right back 45degrees. This allows me to see the opponent receive the shuttle and allows me to make any movement needed to cover the rear if the opponent decides to lift/clear.

ask him to make hand signals so you can guestimate where the shuttle will be heading

just dont stare at that direction though, it'll give away your strategy :p
