    Hi Mr. Khoo,

If you are keen in playing badminton, you will probably be in a badminton dessert.Probably there is no club in the Southern Highland district area. The nearest option is for you to drive down to play in Campbelltown ( a Sydney outer suburb) which is just 40 minutes along the highway. There are more badminton clubs as you come nearer Sydney city centre.

Good luck in staying in Mittagong. Pleasant weather all year round except the colder days in winter.

Should you need further assistance in finding a place to play badminton, please let me know.

"Badminton dessert"!.....sounds horrible! But you are right!

Anyway, thanks for your tips. Hopefully I can keep on my `semangat' and travel 40minutes to city for badminton session.

    Keep in touch! Cheers!

    Dear Mr. Khoo,

You need a car to get to Campbelltown. The freeway should be a smooth drive for a game of badminton. If you are relying on a train to get there, forget about it.
Campbelltown is the last stop of the Sydney rail outer suburb services. Any train beyond that is inter-city train and they are not that frequent.

Enjoy your stay in Mittagong and hope you meet lots of badminton kakis here.

    Cheers

    Hi,

You can try contacting Illawarra Badminton Association on 02 4267 1580 - there are places to play in Wollongong which is not far away.

A search of the internet showed up Berrima District Badminton Club - they seem to be based in Mittagong - ring 02 4872 1402

Otherwise check with Badminton New South Wales http://www.badmintonnsw.org.au/clubs.html
