    Wang Xin's major campaigns:

World Championships 2010 : Silver (convincingly beaten by WL)
World Championships 2011 : Bronze (walkover to WYH)
Asian Games 2010 : Silver (lost to WSX)

    Wang Yihan's major campaign:

World Championship 2009 and 2010 were early exits; Only to succeed in London a year later

Wang Shixian performance in world has been poor but in the Asian Games she won gold at first try

Li Xuerui has no major tournament experience

My picks among the 4 CHN WS are clear by now, namely, Wang Yihan, Li Xuerui, and Wang Xin.

WX lost to CSC a month before the WC . WYH has better against either Schenk or CSC.

    That's why.

Li Xuerui will not go far in the Olympics if she meets Wang Yihan in the semis. Unless WYH gets accidentally knocked out by the dark horse, the All England jinx will come true.

As that match between WYH and WX was played, technically and factually, there was no walkover.

Sorry not walkover. I mean fixed to let WYH move on to get the gold.

Looked to me like LXR went all out in the final and succumbed to fatigue.

that's how i saw it too. i think she was having too much fun beating up Saina in the first game and lost track of her stamina.

if it doesn't kill you it will only make you stronger. hopefully this will be a good lesson learned for her.

why would she go all out and risk injury a few weeks before OLY in a tournament which doesn't count?

For WSX, yes, I think she did go all out.

The coaching staff will make damn sure this is the case. I have to say her overhead shots surprisingly let her down in the final. Because Saina decided to lift rather that play LXR at the net, she had an extraordinarily amount to overhead shots execute. After a while it must get tiring. I should count how many went into the net or out.

    agree, it makes no sense.

but that's also what happened in the match against WYH. she was playing a really fast game.

which brings up to something funny. maybe she is still thinking about 1st game take all, and lost focus on the 2nd/3rd games against Saina.

Did you watch the match? I can only give you my opinion based on what I saw, and it was an all-out effort by LXR.

Yea, I did. I thought she was nonchalant. But it's ok. We can disagree on this. No problem.

But I think WSX went all out. Her match against Saina was epic.
