    Hi all

Has anybody noticed the different specification between European Victor racket and Asian Victor racket?

I was looking for to buy another racket. BS 11 was my top choice.
I found Eurpean badminton store and reviewer saying BS 11 is head heavier than BS10, approximately 310mm.
I found Asian badminton store and reviewer saying BS 11 is more even balanced than BS10, approximately 285mm.

Is it true that European Victor BS 11 is balanced at abt 310mm?
Is it true that Asian Victor BS 11 is balanced at abt 285mm?

I want to confirm from other users.
    Thanks!

European websites tend to state the balance point with strings. Sometimes the weight, too. Asian websites state mostly the dry balance and weight. Don't be confused. In Germany, the balance point is stated as 308mm at Victor's website. I have seen some shops, where every racket is 285 to 295mm, some shops where the BS11 is handle heavy and some other stupid informations.
The most country specific things are the weight and the grip size. In Europe it's nearly impossible to buy a 4U Victor racket or a G2 one.

I've had a couple of TW coded rackets and the Wet BP for me - that is, strung and Karakal PU Super and similar replacement gripped is - about 295mm. Dry it would be about 290mm. They are slightly head heavy. It's also my understanding that the 2011 model is flexier than the previous models, too, judging from the websites and the spec sheets. I don't know if this is the case in actual reality though.

I think that has more to do with their new 5 dot stiffness scale ...

    agree...
they should make it at least 7 dots for a more accurate description of stiffness & balance

Didn't they just introduce that 5 Section matrix thing this year though? I completely agree about the five dot rating system, 7 is the minimum that actually works. I'd buy a Euro BS11 just so I could make a comparison, but there's no way I'm paying Eu prices to satisfy a curiosity!

Do you live in North America? If I remember correctly, badmintonwarehouse.com sells BS11 that is manufactured from Europe. Please, double check. Actually, that's why I am asking you all, too.
So BS11 is head heavier than BS9 and stiffer than BS9?

lol, I wish I could tell you! Some people say the BS12 is an updated BS09, some say it's head heavier. *shrug* the 09 is the only one I haven't actually owned, but it's my understanding that the 11 is slightly head heavier than the 09 and slightly less stiff.....although swinging it around in a shop the other day it certainly felt more like a 12 than an 11.

    I appreciated it Maklike Tier

    What I heard is this:
    comparing in head heaviness
    BS11(Eu) 308mm>BS11(TW) 290-295mm

Is anybody using BS11(Eu)? It will clear my doubt. Tell me the condition- the grip and string, and the balance point of your BS11(Eu)

Wow, 308 is massively head heavy. The TW and EU versions would be like two different rackets altogether.

That's the difference only what I saw on eu online store(308mm), malaysian online store(295mm+5), and korean online store(285mm-295mm). By the way, BS-168 has the highest attacking point in BS series.

    I am going offtopic here.
I am guessing BS168 has the highest balance point from the chart of BS series.
Or somehow the combination of bp and flex will improve attack?
I like the feeling of BS 12. It was quite repulsive. I am thinking to get BS168... hope it is repulsive racket.
