HI, i would like to buy a racket, i have a slow swing speed as i am quiet big for a badminton player.... I love to smash , so you guys have any suggestions for rackets? preferbally balance or slightly head heavy... i dont like it to heavy......... I have tried vt80 but it was difficult to use therefore i sold it, so i looking to buy another high end racket... Thanks for helping
The simple equation is: for a slower arm swing, you use a more flexible racquet. The most flexible high end racquets include the VT60 and NR700FX. The VT70 is medium stiff so it may not be suitable for you..
Arc10 is pretty stiff. And considering if what you said about your slow arm swing is correct and accurate, I would not advise it. The high end Li Ning racquets [N series] are all also either pretty stiff, or medium flex while being noticeably head heavy (which is what you stated that you would not want). The mid range Li Ning racquets have more options in terms of stiffness. I recommend the flexible Winstorm series.
Your body might be big, but your arm still can swing fast. Sorry kinda out of topic. Just giving my 2 cents here.
...hmmmm so vt60 or 700 FX.. are those the only options? Well my arm isnt that slow... but medium swing, its slow compared to other players
Problem with BS series is, the very fast way the BS used to cut though the air could result in a very weird feeling. I would try to focus on better technique, hence higher swing speed. Arc10 however, requires a very high swing speed with high tension to unlock its full potential. Low swing speed and stiff even racket might not work out that properly. Arc7 or the At900T would be my choice.
That is a sign of slow or incomplete arm swing, just as you mentioned I already recommended the VT60 and NR700FX for Yonex racquets and any of the Li Ning Windstorm 6XX racquets. Please read the posts above. Also, perhaps the Panda Power Precision is also a good choice? I am not that familiar with Victor racquets on the other hand.
maybe u can take alook at Victor BraveSword 9, BraveSword 12, and SuperWaves 37 for the Victor racquets
I myself am currently very happy with my pretty stiff to extra stiff racquets, so if these Victor racquets are relatively flexible then let them be a reference for the -SYC- (the one who is asking for help in the first place)
hmmmmm... what tension string is good for slow arm swing? I love smashing so .... PLZ provide me ur recommended racket and tension that suits that racket, thanks again for the help =P
Try the Kason C7. Clear is effortless with this racket plus the shaft is not as stiff as Voltric 80 or N50ii so it is easier to use than those 2. As for smashing I don't think it is as powerful as N50ii or the Apex Tantrum series but it is still powerful once you get the hang of it plus it is cheaper than Li-Ning's alternative.
Like the others say, a flexible racket would help you out the most. I would suggest the arcsaber 7, victor bravesword 9, bravesword 12 and possibly a Yonex Voltric 60. I wouldn't suggest getting any of the top of the top end rackets though as they all tend to be very stiff.
as the above have mentioned, medium flex rackets are better for your swing speed and if you have problem to clear back to back maybe some weight to the head would be better too. My suggestions would include Voltric 5, Voltric 70 (Voltric 5 is head heavier than VT70 on the yonex chart) Superwaves for more power: SW37, SW798, Bravesword for more speed: BS09, BS169 Nanoray 700FX has a stiff shaft, only the racket frame is softer. Plus the light head reduces your smashing power. Also you could reduce your string tension for more power (sacrificing accuracy)
Arcsaber10 is not that stiff. It's more flex-stiff. I've got the SW37 now. It seems to be more flexible.
