I've just managed to acquire a Stringway EM500 machine from ebay, and it was too good a opportunity to pass on.

My last racket was broken by my stringer -- so I decided to take the plunge.

I've got the manual and everything - BUT - the tension display varies from 8.3 to 82.3 but I don't know whether is showing the tension in KG or pounds.

Anyone know ?, the manual refers to both pounds and KG

    Thanks in advance

    Ross

With most machines there is a set limit for setting tension
So if you're in KG.. try setting it for 50.. when you press enter, It shouldn't let you set it since you're above the range.. But if it does.. then you're in Lbs.

After some thought = The range of the machine appears to 8.3 to 83.3 - so i'm almost certain it's pounds.

    Thanks riceman101
