i bought 2nd Victor Bs 10 the serial number is CN C7161314 and the butt cap is blue colour & white victor logo with no taiwan font So is this real or fake racket?
I got a question here, hope topic starter wouldnt mind. CN coded is China distributor isn't it? Before this i thought it was Canada since no China distributor listed in victor website. so i emailed Victor Canada to ask about CN coded racket. They replied, its not Canada, its china coded. How to contact Victor China actually?
I also thought it's Victor Canada lol.. I don't know about where to find Victor China one of indicator that it is fake is that on the butt cap there O will be orange (not white) all of the victor logo "\o/" should be in white the new one butt cap is without "Taiwan" (blue colour also right) based on the butt cap alone (without considering any other thing as you didn't provide it) it should be fine
If im not wrong, it should be fake. It should have the "Taiwan" wording on the blue cap for high end victor racket since it is manufactured in Taiwan and the butt cap quality is different. For most High end victor, the butt cap should have glossy surface rather than rough surface. Lastly i think the frame looks more aero shape than sword shape to me and the word "Brave Sword" should have 'reflective' coating on it when you see it. P.S: It should have the BKA logo as well on one side of the cone.
chances are slim though, since the newer design have the word "Sword" painted on the frame instead of "Brave Sword".
My Brave Sword 11 has the word "Sword" painted on the frame instead of "Brave Sword." I thought it was fake because of that but does that mean it could real. Here's the link for pictures of my BS 11 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/110006-Fake-Victor-Brave-Sword-11
"Sword" is the new wording that i believe started around Early 2011. nothing wrong with that. however, BW don't get stock from official US distributor and it is not guaranteed that his rackets are authentic. if you haven't done so, you should bring your racket to RacketSupply (the official US distributor) for him to take a look.
